1. COMPANY INFORMATION

 

Claraval is a brand co-owned by Perpétua, Pereira & Almeida, Lda., headquartered in Évora de Alcobaça, Portugal, and FormsFrom Unipessoal, Lda.

 

2. SCOPE

 

These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made through the Claraval online store at claraval.pt and govern the contractual relationship between Claraval and the customer (hereinafter "you" or "the customer"). By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.

 

3. PRODUCTS

 

All Claraval pieces are handcrafted in Portugal, in the Alcobaça region, using traditional ceramic techniques combined with computational design and our proprietary Sound-Made Ceramics technology. Due to the handmade nature of the production process, slight variations between individual pieces may occur — these particularities are part of the identity and value of each work.

 

Images on the website are for illustrative purposes only. Colours, textures, and finishes may vary slightly depending on your screen settings and the inherent characteristics of the artisanal process.

 

4. PRICES AND PAYMENT

 

All prices displayed in the online store include VAT at the applicable legal rate in Portugal. Shipping costs are calculated and shown at checkout, before order confirmation.

 

Claraval reserves the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. The price applicable to your order is the one in effect at the time of purchase confirmation.

 

Payment is processed through the methods available on the platform. Your order will only be processed once payment has been confirmed.

 

5. ORDERS AND CONTRACT

 

By submitting your order, you are making a purchase offer. The contract is considered concluded when Claraval sends an order confirmation to your email address. If for any reason we are unable to fulfil your order (for example, due to stock unavailability), we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund.

 

6. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

 

We deliver to mainland Portugal, the Azores, Madeira, and the main countries within the European Union. Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on product availability, the carrier, and the delivery location. Claraval is not responsible for delays caused by external factors such as adverse weather conditions, strikes, or customs processing.

 

7. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

 

Under Decree-Law No. 84/2021 and EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days from the date you receive the product, without providing any reason. To exercise this right, please refer to our Refund Policy.

 

8. LEGAL WARRANTY

 

All products are covered by the legal conformity guarantee provided under Portuguese and European legislation. If you receive a defective or non-conforming product, please contact us immediately so we can find the best solution.

 

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

 

All content on the Claraval website — including texts, images, videos, design, logo, and the Sound-Made Ceramics technology — is the exclusive property of the brand co-owned by Perpétua, Pereira & Almeida, Lda. and FormsFrom Unipessoal, Lda., or its licensors. Reproduction in whole or in part without prior written authorisation is strictly prohibited.

 

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

 

Claraval shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of its products. Our liability is limited to the value of the order in question.

 

11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

 

In the event of a dispute, customers may use alternative dispute resolution (ADR) entities available in their country of residence. In Portugal, you can find available entities at www.consumidor.gov.pt. Portuguese law applies to these Terms and Conditions.

 

12. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

 

Claraval reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. We recommend reviewing this document periodically. The version currently published on the website is always the one in force.
